Tottenham are engaging in talks with Benfica to sign striker Carlos Vinicius on a loan with an option to buy.
The London club are desperate to recruit a striker who can rotate with the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
They have narrowed their search down to Vinicius, who is 25 and managed 24 goals last term.
The Brazilian was linked to the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan, but none of those moves materialized.
And according to Sky Sports, the deal will be a loan with a £36 million option to buy.
Spurs would not be obligated to buy the player, but if they make that offer within the loan period, Benfica must accept it.
