Tottenham have passed on signing free agent Lassana Diarra.
The Daily Mail says the 29-year-old free agent has been in talks with Marseille over a potential transfer and reports out of France today indicated he was also holding talks with Tottenham.
However, Diarra will not be moving to White Hart Lane in the immediate future.
Those talks have not developed and a key factor is Tottenham already have their full Premier League squad quota and would be unable to sign any new player at this stage.
