Tottenham risk missing out on Porto star Joao Moutinho.

Moneybags Paris Saint-Germain now lead the race for the 26-year midfielder despite interest from Russian champions Zenit Saint Petersburg, says the Daily Mail.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas had wanted to sign Moutinho during the summer.

But a £22m deal collapsed on deadline day amid wrangling over the player's wages and administrative errors.

Villas-Boas hoped to make a renewed effort to sign the Portugal international in the next transfer window but the former Sporting Lisbon ace is now eager to play for a club in the Champions League.
