Tottenham are eyeing Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch.

Sky Sports says Tottenham are monitoring the 23-year-old Austria international and have sent scouts to watch Grillitsch play at both club and international level.

It is thought that Austrian has an £18million release clause in his contract, which still has has more than two-and-a-half years to go.

The news comes after Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembele looks set to depart from London with Tottenham accepting a £9m bid from Beijing Guoan.

Dembele has struggled with injuries this season playing just 13 times in all competitions as Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks have been preferred in the deeper role.
