The Mirror says Tottenham are keen on Benkovic.

Inter Milan have also displayed a tentative interest in the 20-year-old Croatia international, who would cost at least £13.5million.

But a move to the Premier League — and particularly to a club involved in the Champions League — appeals more to the youngster than a switch to Italy.
