Tottenham expect Real Madrid to come knocking for manager Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham fear Real Madrid will return in another attempt to lure Pochettino from North London in the summer with Santiago Solari set to be confirmed in the role as head coach at the Bernabeu.
Solari is tipped to land the Real job until the end of the season after four wins out of four under his caretaker leadership since Julen Lopetegui was fired.
The Argentine will have the chance to make the job his own but his appointment is viewed by many in Spain as Real playing for time until the summer when Antonio Conte will be free from his legal dispute with Chelsea and Pochettino might be tempted to consider a new challenge.
Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Pochettino who is under contract at Tottenham until 2023.
