Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier has hailed the mood and the environment in the Spurs dressing room at present.

The North London club have performed consistently under manager Mauricio Pochetinno this season and currently sit in fourth spot in the Premier League.

25-year-old Trippier believes that the Tottenham squad is full of confidence in the wake of their last gasp 2-1 win against Watford on Monday which sees the sitting just four points behind top two Arsenal and Leicester City.

"It was a massive victory, coming at Watford, who have been on a good run," said Trippier.

"We're all full of confidence and the belief is high in the dressing room.

"It just shows the energy we've got as a team - even thought we were playing against 10 men because it's not easy.

"The fitness, the mentality, the belief… we thought and we knew we could win the game and we got the last-minute winner and the three points."
