According to the London Evening Standard QPR boss Harry Redknapp has targeted William Gallas as his first signing of the transfer window. The top flights bottom club are desperate for defensive reinforcements with the possibility experienced centre back Ryan Nelsen could leave with immediate effect to manage Toronto in the MLS.
Redknapp is understood to have around £20 million to spend this January, and is specifically seeking to buy two centre-halves and two forwards.
