Tottenham and Chelsea are battling for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.
Marca says Tottenham are watching the Spain international and Rafa Benitez has recommended to Chelsea they sign the striker.
Negredo has been lined up by Borussia Dortmund to replace Robert Lewandowski (who has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United) in the summer - with the German side already submitting a £15.2million bid.
