Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is determined to hold onto fullback Danny Rose.

The Sun says Levy is preparing to fend off a deadline day bid for left-back Rose from Chelsea.

Spurs, who are still struggling to make signings, have said they are not in the business of selling their top stars.

Although Kyle Walker forced his way out to City in a £50m deal earlier this summer, the right-back went with boss Mauricio Pochettino's blessing.

Chelsea are set to bid for Rose after Sunday's Wembley clash with Tottenham.
