Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has dismissed criticism of France teammate Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann has struggled since leaving Atletico Madrid for Barcelona last summer.

But Lloris says: "It is not possible to question a player like Antoine Griezmann after everything he has done for France in recent years.

"All players have their ups and downs. There are times when you succeed better than others. Now he is going through a somewhat complicated period in the offensive, but above all I see a player who is ready to defend and do the job for his teammates.

"There is no doubt about it."
