Tottenham Brings in Winger Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk

Tottenham may not have always been among the elite teams in the Premier League, even though we always classify them among the "big six", but that's why they always knew how to do well when it came to spending money on transfers. We don't know if it's due to stingy people in the club who simply didn't want to spend more money or if they were just so good that they didn't have to. However, the fact is that the "whites" knew how to find very cheap reinforcements that left a mark on their team.

They are certainly disappointed with their performances last season, and in the new season, they will attack the top part of the table and will try to qualify for the Champions League. Reinforcements are necessary to achieve something, especially considering the likely departure of the best player Harry Kane. The new Premier League season is fast approaching and the league seems to be more even than ever before. Betting online is certainly the best way to enjoy it and feel like a part of it.

The new manager of Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou, is slowly building a team according to his wishes, so his new reinforcement in this transfer window is the Israeli Manor Solomon. The left-wing striker terminates his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk and arrived in London as a free agent, and signed a five-year contract. Tottenham took advantage of the situation and brought in free Israeli winger Manor Solomon from Shakhtar. Although the Israeli still had six months left on his contract with the club from Donetsk, the rules were on Tottenham's side because of the situation in Ukraine and they hired him as a free agent, signing a five-year contract. In Tottenham, he will replace Ivan Perisic, who even though is in the squad for the preparations and pre-season matches is almost certainly leaving the club. He is negotiating a transfer to the Croatian club Hajduk Split.

Solomon also used the FIFA Annex last season and went on a one-year loan to Fulham, where he left a very good impression. Before his debut in the Premier League, Solomon did not play an official game for half a year, first because of the winter break, and then because of the war in Ukraine. And then, on that debut, he injured his knee so badly that almost another six months had to pass before he could play again. Although he injured his knee upon arrival, he later recovered and played brilliantly, especially with goals. Fulham also wanted to keep him, but Tottenham's invitation was still more attractive. In Shakhtar, they are very angry about this move, they claim that they have lost serious money and demand that the annex be abolished, but in Solomon's situation, they could not do anything.

Solomon started his career in Maccabi from Petah Tikva, from which Shakhtar bought him as a 20-year-old for 6,000,000 euros. Just as he was establishing himself in Shakhtar's team, the war in Ukraine started and he took advantage of the situation to go to Fulham for a year on a free. Thanks to "Annex Seven" from the FIFA Law on the Status and Transfers of Football Players, players from Russian and Ukrainian clubs were able to leave for a year without financial compensation to their clubs. He had a very good season at Fulham, scoring five goals in the Premier League and attracting the attention of Tottenham. He is now considered among the best wingers in the world today. He played 35 matches for the national team of his country and scored 7 goals.

Solomon is officially the sixth reinforcement of Spurs, who spent 136,300,000 euros this summer. They bought Pedro Poro from Sporting and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, bought James Madison from Leicester, Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli, and Destiny Udogie is coming, who they bought from Udinese a year ago and left him there to play as a loaned player. With these players, Tottenham shows that they are serious in their intentions and ambition for the next season and that their main goal will be to get back in the Champions League.
