Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says he won't be performing major surgery on his squad in January.
He told the Mail on Sunday: "I haven't had time to discuss that yet, but sometimes you get unfairly labelled in this game. I'm supposed to be a wheeler-dealer. But I understand the game and, maybe, I don't always get credit for that.
"I love coaching. I love getting out with Aaron Lennon and showing him, when he gets a yard, how to get balls into space behind defenders; or talking to David Bentley about playing balls in front of people. That's what I love doing and that's what I am good at. I've walked into a decent squad who were under-performing; the challenge is to turn that around."
