Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he would've accepted the England job if it had been offered.
But Redknapp, speaking at half-time on BBC TV's coverage of Holland and Denmark, claims he was never approached by the FA.
Redknapp said: "I was never approached. I would have taken it, though. It would have been difficult to turn it down. I was relieved I didn't get offered it. I love club football - I'd miss it.
"I have a year left on my contract at Tottenham. I'll sit down with Daniel Levy when the time is right."
