Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp faces a battle convincing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan about a move to White Hart Lane.
The Daily Mail says Forlan is happy in Madrid but still has friends in England and would move for a challenge such as Tottenham and the chance of living in London.
However, he would not be keen on moving to play second fiddle to either Peter Crouch or Jermain Defoe, especially at 31. Therein lies the problem.
He would not come cheap and Tottenham prefer to sign players with good resale value.
A deal with Atletico would really only leave one winner as they would be looking at close to £20million.
