Tottenham boss Redknapp desperate for strikers to start scoring

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is desperate for his strikers to start scoring.

Jermain Defoe is yet to score in 12 appearances, Peter Crouch has only two despite featuring 27 times, while Roman Pavlyuchencko heads the trio on five goals in 19 outings.

Redknapp said: "If the front men went on a run and started scoring goals, if Defoe could do his usual and get eight or nine goals between now and the end of the season, that would make a massive difference.

"We need him and Pav and Crouchy in the league to weigh in with a few. [Defoe] needs a goal to set him off and give him a bit of confidence."
