Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed making a check on Palermo defender Simon Kjaer.
With Ledley King unable to play matches in quick succession and no comeback date set for Jonathan Woodgate's return from a groin complaint, Redknapp has been looking at Palermo centre-back Kjaer.
"We've watched him, like the other top Premier League clubs," Redknapp said. "He played against Fiorentina at the weekend and is a top young player but we've not made any enquiries about buying him."
