Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp and Arsenal legend Ian Wright are among football named who will be part of an all-star cast to honour late golfing great Seve Ballesteros in the inaugural 'Seve Day' in October.
Keen golfers from all walks of life have been invited to play on the day, but to qualify for the event, have to submit a score of at least 72 to event organisers YourGolfTravel.com.
Spanish ace Ballesteros lost his battle with brain cancer in May last year and he will now be honoured by a host of professional and non-pro players at The Belfry in Warwickshire and Redknapp is looking forward to supporting the cause.
"I'm a 14-handicapper, average golfer but I'm really looking forward to playing in the Seve Day," he said.
