Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he's beginning to warm to Heurelho Gomes after his performance in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Chelsea.
He said: "I'd be a liar if I stood here and told you I always knew he could do that. I was getting worried. But it was amazing because everywhere I went in Europe, people would say how good he was. The coach at PSV, this Dutch guy at Shakhtar Donetsk, Tony Adams, they all said he was world-class.
"It's been hard on Carlo Cudicini but Gomes is playing terrifically well. He's a top athlete and he's pulling balls out of the air."
