Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says they're supporting Ryan Sessegnon during his injury rehab.

Postecoglou admits they're waiting on the fullback's recovery.

He said: "It is the hardest thing for any footballer and sometimes they feel when they are not playing or not getting selected, it is the worst time or if they are having bad form it is the worst time, but the worst time is when you can't do what you love. You can't be part of the group because talk to players who have retired, the thing they miss the most is being in the dressing room and part of something.

"When you do rehab, particularly like Sess has been doing and like with Rodrigo, it is a fairly lonely existence and Sess has had some real bad luck, but he is still working away. He is still positive in his outlook but we will have to be cautious with him and I think the medical team rightly so, because he has had a number of setbacks, want to give him every chance that when he does come back, to stay back.

"He is one we are not putting any timelines on and we'll be guided by the medical team and him more importantly."
