Tottenham boss Postecoglou happy with Werner, Johnson progress

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou admits he's developed with his attacking players.

Postecoglou feels there's more to come from Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson and Heung-min Son.

The manager said: "That has been developing well. You try and feed back information to the players but it is up to them to take that on board and put it into action. It helps when they get rewards for it.

"Certainly Brennan and Timo have scored or assisted over the last four or five weeks, which is great."

On Johnson's improved goal return, after scoring four goals in his last nine games, the manager added: "We've made him more lethal. He's found a bit of confidence and consistency and understanding of the way we play. We bought him very much as a young player with an eye of knowing that what he does this year, there's more in him."
