Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has assured fans of a huge 2018 ahead.
Tottenham begin the new year away to struggling Swansea on Tuesday night, still in contention for only the Champions League and the FA Cup.
And Pochettino claimed moving back to White Hart Lane from their temporary home at Wembley next season will be the launchpad to become a “real contender".
“First of all, we need to move to the new stadium," he said. “That is so important for the team, for the club, for the fans, for everyone to settle in the new stadium.
“The moment you are in the new stadium, you start to feel that that is your home you can be more strong and that will change completely the atmosphere and of course the vision from the people the players from will be different.
“Of course, for me it is the moment to say we are a real contender.
“We are a contender now, yes. And for the last two seasons we were a contender, of course. With a solid structure we are going to be real contenders — and we must be real contenders."
