Mauricio Pochettino wasn't taking anything away from Rochdale after the League One side earned a fifth-round FA Cup replay with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Steven Davies tied things up at 2-2 in injury time to cancel out Harry Kane's late penalty.

Speaking at the conclusion of the match, Pochettino praised the Dale for making it a tough encounter.

"It's good news that we are going to play a replay at Wembley," said Pochettino. "It was a difficult game, just like it was at Newport (in the fourth round).

"This type of game is so difficult and we have to be careful how we assess the performance. It's the magic of the competition.

"We gave our best and tried to win but I repeat, it's not easy to compete in these circumstances. We're still alive in the competition and that's most important."
