Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is ready to shop on the continent for a new defender.
The London Evening Standard says Villarreal stopper Pau Torres and Torino's Gleison Bremer are on Conte's shopping list.
However, Conte sees Alessandro Bastoni as his No1 defensive target, having worked with the 23-year-old at Inter Milan, who is valued at £50million. But his agent, Tulio Tinti, has stated he expects him to remain with the Nerazzurri.
But given his relationship with Conte, Spurs are hopeful that they could convince Bastoni to leave San Siro.
In Torres' case, there are plans to offer Spurs midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, who joined Villarreal on-loan in January, as a makeweight in any deal.
Bremer, meanwhile, could be sold as Torino seek to balance the books.
