Tottenham boss Andre Vilas-Boas is eager to sell Luka Modric to Real Madrid.

The Sun says he wants Spurs to wrap up the £35million deal with Real Madrid for Modric so he can bring in Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Tottenham boss admitted: "It has been dragging on for quite some time but we are very patient."

AVB wants Daniel Levy to step in and deal with the Modric saga. He added: "The chairman has to be very astute as you know he is.

"I thought it would be done in a few days and I will continue to think that way."
