The on-line gambling business are very aware their astonishing £8.5million-a-year deal was far too costly and they are keen to negotiate an early termination if Spurs can find new backers.

Spurs will struggle to find a shirt sponsor prepared to pay even £4m-a-year given the current financial climate.
