Tottenham back in for Fulham's Zamora

Tottenham will reportedly test Fulham's resolve this winter with a bid for striker Bobby Zamora.

The 30-year old was a target for former club Spurs during the summer but Harry Redknapp failed in his attempts to bring him back to White Hart Lane.

Reports suggest that Redknapp will again try for the England international in January as he looks to strengthen his squad, which sits fourth in the Premier League, and can use Zamora as a back-up for the in-form Emmanuel Adebayor.

With the North Londoners set to sell Roman Pavlyuchenko, Zamora is seen as the perfect signing for Spurs but it remains to be seen if he will depart Craven Cottage amidst claims of a fall-out with manager Martin Jol which has been denied by the Dutchman.
