Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has come clean over talks with Olympique Marseille.
OM chief Andoni Zubizarreta was spotted in deep conversation with Sissoko at Toulouse's birthday celebrations last month.
The meeting sparked transfer rumours, though Sissoko told L'Equipe last night: "I met Andoni Zubizarreta and Basile Bole during the eighty years of TFC, we greeted each other, but there was nothing special.
"If I called Patrice Evra to get information? Maybe we were tapped (laughs). With Pat, one calls him from time to time, but, on this subject, there is nothing special to say.
"A return to Ligue 1? Even if everyone knows that I prefer England, I have never closed the door to a Championship. We will see if there are offers, but L1 remains attractive. We saw this year with PSG and Monaco, but also with teams like Nice, Lyon or Marseille.
"We will analyze with a magnifying glass and make the best choice."
