Tottenham are already contemplating selling defender Emerson Royal.

The right-back, who has experienced a mixed season at the North London club, is likely to depart in the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun, the Brazilian defender Spurs signed from Barcelona for £26 million in the summer, is not a favorite of new coach Antonio Conte.

The Italian prefers Matt Doherty in the right wing-back position, and may look to secure a starting player for that role in the summer.

That would leave Emerson the odd man out, and he could head away from the club, despite signing a five-year deal in the summer.
