Tottenham's American striker Clint Dempsey is so happy he made the move to England.
Although growing up in the wild West, Dempsey admits Tottenham's pedigree and passion for flowing football was completely lost on him.
He explained: "To be honest I didn't know much about the history because growing up I didn't have many channels on my TV.
"You had to stand on one leg, holding up a hanger as an aerial to try and get different channels.
"We didn't get many games from Europe, more central America and South America.
"But as you come over here, you hear more about the games of the past and you know this is a great team who try to play the game in the right way.
"You see that they've done well in the past. It's a team with a lot of quality and it's about maintaining that.
"Spurs always look to play the right way and always play to win. For me it's about trying to get more minutes and making an impact."
