Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie is being linked with Tottenham.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are looking at the Bundesliga and Bayer Leverkusen as they seek a new defensive signing.

Promising defender Hincapie is now under consideration at Spurs.

However, there is fierce competition for the 20-year-old's signature. AC Milan, Roma, Napoli, Sevilla and Zenit St Petersburg are also keeping tabs on Hincapie.

Bayer signed Hincapie from Argentina's CA Talleres last summer. The defender has a contract until the summer of 2026.
