Torres bowled over by welcome received at Chelsea

Fernando Torres admits he's been bowled over by the welcome he's received at Chelsea.

The new number 9 could face his former side Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this afternoon and has been working hard on both his football and at getting to know people at the training ground in the past few days.

"The atmosphere is unbelievable, everyone is laughing and joking and everyone is really friendly," Torres told chelseafc.com.

"Everyone at the club is looking after me and after my family and the atmosphere between the players and the staff has really surprised me, it is really good.

"I have talked with Anelka and Drogba especially because I want to be involved with them as soon as possible. When you can play in a side with the likes of Drogba, Anelka and Lampard, you have got to enjoy it. I want to understand the way they play as soon as I can."
