Toronto FC have made a move for released Chelsea star Frank Lampard.
Lampard is expected to sign for Manchester City's MLS franchise, New York City FC and spend the first-half of the season on-loan in Australia with Melbourne City.
However, The Sun says Toronto FC have tried to hijack New York City's move for England international Lampard.
The Canadian MLS side wanted Lamps to link up with Jermain Defoe for next season.
