Goals from Dennis Praet, Wilfried Singo and Andrea Belotti earned the points for Toro.

“I am very satisfied, as it was a tough and physical match, especially in the first half, but we loosened up after the second goal and started to create numerous opportunities," Juric told Sky Italia.

“It was only minor and we decided not to risk him, though Karol Linetty put in a great performance stepping in at the last minute."

“It's a generational shift, we must be courageous to use younger players who are hungry. This season the aim is to regain credibility, to see Toro fight and give our all on the pitch. After that, we'll see, but the team needs to grow on so many levels."
