Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi admits he's held talks with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic about recent results.
Toro were thumped 3-0 by Fiorentina in midweek.
“Something hasn't been working for a few matches now," Petrachi told Torino Channel.
“The team needs to recover from the point of view of competitive nastiness. If we put our will and our minds to it we can pull that quality out this year too, but right now we're lacking a fundamental facet of football.
“I think this team believes that by having quality you'll win matches easily, but the reality is quite the opposite.
“We need the ardour and furore to play, and that's what we need to rediscover. I said that to Sinisa last night, and I reiterated it this morning.
“Unfortunately all of my predictions and concepts in recent weeks have come up against the facts: we've lacked the right attitude.
“We can still recover, restart, we have to play, enough chatter and words.
“Everyone must examine their confidence, and say 'I have to do more'. We need to do it with actions and not words though."
