Torino sports chief Rino Foschi has laughed off talk of a rivalry with Fiorentina counterpart Pantaleo Corvino.

The two clubs face-off this weekend and Foschi said: "Pantaleo and I are friends, we just like the same players. There is no rivalry, it is just the law of the transfer market.

"We have also done business together, like when we swapped Federico Balzaretti and Mario Santana. Fiorentina are a great team, it isn't a derby but a meeting between two directors.

"I feel lucky because in Sicily Maurizio Zamparini gave me the freedom to invest largely on the market. Now I hope the same thing will happen here at the Olimpico with Urbano Cairo."
