Four huge points why Chelsea management is failing fans

COMMENT: This season, there's been a wide range of reasons behind Chelsea's beyond shocking form.

You all know about the Doctor incident and all that but here's what I feel are the real problems now.

Firstly, as much as I love Jose Mourinho I hated the way he'd refuse to change his team. Ok, he did change the team like every other manager, but let's be honest here, the changes were pretty minor. Please bear in mind that this is my opinion and not necessarily fact, but I personally think that one of the reasons that Jose didn't want to change the team when needed is because he wanted to prove people wrong, and prove himself right.

Even when it's obvious that Cesc Fabregas is burnt out, he still insisted on playing him. Ok, I'm aware that Fabregas has been rested recently, but this is an example for the whole of the season so far and not just the current ongoings. Diego Costa for example, it's so obvious that he needs a break. Loic Remy has been better than Costa when he has played this season but there was clearly a lack of trust in Remy from the manager. The whole reason in having a squad (not a team, but a squad) of players is to widen your range of options.

What is the point of having all of these players when you are not interested in playing them?

Secondly, the signings. (I am only going to discuss first team regulars here so I'm not going to include Bertrand Traore, Kenedy, etc.) They were, with the exception of Pedro, a load of crap.

Papy Djilobodji was utter desperation. It wasn't even a mere panic buy. It's clear that we were desperate. After that Manchester City defeat it was obvious that we had serious problems. The meltdown on social media was incredible even for the standards of today's technology. It was clear to Chelsea fans we were in with a real chance of struggling here. Ok, so Pedro was brought in like I say, but the squad depth needed to be added to because it was obvious the players were running out of steam.

There were clear signs of this at the back end of last season.

I think that Mourinho and the board probably didn't see eye to eye in the transfer market. Reports suggest that Mourinho wanted to splash the cash, but the board partially prevented him. Mourinho even admitted that he wasn't aware who Djilobodji was. Seriously worrying.

Thirdly, players such as Juan Mata, Kevin De Bruyne, Ryan Bertrand, and Romelu Lukaku, should probably all still be here. Ok, I understand that with Lukaku and De Bruyne their attitude was deemed to be poor but we could all see that those two had real potential to become world class. Instead of working our way around this, they were sold.

Bertrand probably wanted guaranteed first team football. But with Mata?! I just don't understand it at all. When he was here he was our best player. Who was better than him? Perhaps Eden Hazard? Who else? I can't think of anyone. Sales of players such as these have caught up with us.

Fourthly, and I believe that this is genuinely a MASSIVE factor. The pre-season schedule. Who the heck came up with that? Seriously. Who was it, I really want to know, because it was frankly bizarre.

Playing four friendlies just isn't enough. We had so much time yet the squad came back to pre-season training later for some reason. The club then came to a decision to play a friendly three days before our first Premier League match. Why?! We had loads and loads of time to play friendlies which the club were happy to pass up. UNTIL JUST BEFORE THE BIG LEAGUE KICK OFF! Absolutely ridiculous.

Sort it out Chelsea.
