Malky Thomson has joined the Birmingham City reserve-team coaching staff.
The 40-year-old, who formerly played for Aberdeen, has also spent time in management as assistant at Chester City, Dundee United and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Thomson joins as an assistant coach with Brum's second-string.
