Inter Milan president Erick Thohir feels they need three years to be competitive.

Thohir bought the club last year from Massimo Moratti.

"My objective is to take Inter back to competing in Europe," Thohir told FcInterNews.it.

"The directors and I, however, know full well that we will need two or three years to build a team that will be able to compete at that level."
