Departing Manchester City striker Thierry Ambrose won't rule out a return to the Premier League - and City.
Off contract in June, Ambrose is set to sign with Metz, where he has spent this season on-loan.
He told Foot Mercato: "City? I arrived very young, I finished the best player with the youngsters, top scorer, I won the championship, I made the bench (in the first team). I learned a lot there.
"My only regret is that I did not impose myself more. I think I had a chance at one point and I crossed paths. So there is not even a real regret, when you hurt yourself that's how it is.
"But I learned a lot and I know that until the end of my life I can say that I played for City. It's beautiful!
"If the door opens again? Sure! In the back of my head there is that."
