Thiago Silva urges Arsenal's Van Persie to choose AC Milan

Thiago Silva has urged unsettled Arsenal captain Robin van Persie to join him at AC Milan.

The Dutchman has been paired with a possible summer move to San Siro as there is some doubt over his future with the London club.

“He is a champion and all champions are good for Milan,” the Rossoneri centre-back told the Corriere dello Sport.

“An added bonus is that he has something different in his game and not just because he is a left-footed attacker.

“He has the ability to make defenders dizzy with his movements which are always towards goal,” added the Brazilian.

“In that sense he reminds me of Pippo Inzaghi, who, like Van Persie, can do damage on the field of play.”
