The Insider - Rudy Galetti: Arsenal, Man Utd locked in Felix battle; Kante pleases Chelsea; Hulk & Turkey

Joao Felix, it's a Premier League race. Cristiano Ronaldo forced out Vincent Aboubakar. And N'Golo Kante's future is at a crossroads. Here are some of the main stories over the last few days of the transfer market from TribalFootball's transfer expert Rudy Galetti.

JOAO FELIX AN ALMOST NEVER-ENDING STORY

Joao Felix is no longer in the plans of the Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simone, there are few doubts on this. For this reason, the Spanish club have opened to the idea to let the Portuguese player go, even temporarily, to lighten the overall wage bill and give him the opportunity to relaunch his career elsewhere. Manchester United and Arsenal are fully in the race for Joao Felix, fighting for him in an ever-changing situation.

So let's have some order here: Man United showed an initial interest last summer, asking for earliest information and now, after some months, they've made a concrete move, putting on the table an onerous loan with option to buy, to be set at around 90/100 million euros. Unfortunately, the initial loan payment offered by the Red Devils wasn't considered sufficient by Atletico, which turned down the offer. Now, United have to assess how to proceed with the negotiation.

Otherwise, on the Gunners side, there was an important meeting in the last hours between the agent of the Portuguese player, Jorge Mendes, to better understand the situation and the next days could be crucial for the deal. Arsenal management have already received the internal green light by owner Stan Kroenke to finalize the agreement if the conditions will be considered "good" and satisfactory.

However, the Spanish club would like around €22m for a 6-month loan (as a full package): honestly a crazy amount, but requests may decrease as market close approaches. An open race, keep an eye on Chelsea's situation: the Blues could yet beat the competition with a surprise move.

ABOUBAKAR - ABANDONED BY AL NASSR WITH TURKEY ON THE HORIZON

Everything as expected: about a month ago we anticipated that Vincent Aboubakar's future could be in Turkey. And so, in all likelihood, it will be like this: Fenerbahce and Besiktas have started contacts with the agent of the Cameroon player to better understand his demands now that he is practically a free agent.

Some days ago, Al Nassr – his former club - almost surprisingly, decided to terminate the contract with the striker who also played a leading role in the World Cup in Qatar. The reason for this decision is simple: the Saudi club had reached the limit of foreign players in the squad (which at the moment, with the rules of the SAFF, are 8) and had to make space in the list to register Cristiano Ronaldo. So, together with the coach Rudi Garcia, they decided to cut the Cameroon forward who now could come back in Europe.

As told, Fener and Besiktas both want to speed up things if the conditions on the table will deemed suitable. Indeed, the Wout Weghorst affair - requested by Manchester United - could convince the Eagles to prioritize the conversation with the Cameroonian's entourage.

KANTE - A COUPLE OF OPTIONS IN HIS FUTURE

N'Golo Kante's future is at a crossroads: the player still desires to play an important role at Chelsea, continuing to be a Stamford Bridge player, but, until a few weeks ago, he didn't accept the idea of reducing his salary to renew his contract, expiring in June.

After the last meeting with the Blues, however, the situation seems to have changed, with more positive sensations between club and player. Kante, in fact, would have opened the hypothesis of lowering his request to remain with Chelsea. The management appreciate this "new" position and the parties will continue to talk, trying to find a mutually satisfactory solution.

Keep an eye, however, to the sirens that come from Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Ministry of Sport wants to support the clubs to reach qualitative deals with football stars, and Kante seems to be another important opportunity, after the arrival of CR7. For this reason, SAFF seems willing to support Al Nassr - the team interested in the French midfielder - giving them the opportunity to propose a huge contract.

We said it at the beginning, Kante is at a crossroads: will he follow the heart, lowering requests and deciding to stay at Chelsea, or will he follow the money, winking at the new Asian experience? Only time will tell.

HULK, A NEW EXPERIENCE IN EUROPE?

At the age of 36, Givanildo Vieira de Souza, better known as Hulk, could come back in Europe. Indeed, the former Porto and Zenit striker is in the sights of Adana Demirspor - the team coached by Vincenzo Montella - which is looking for an experienced striker to remain among the first positions of the Super Lig and to fight for Champions League to the end of the season.

After spending more than four years in China, at Shanghai Port, Hulk had decided to return to Brazil, probably with the idea of ending his career at Atletico MG. But now the pressing of the Turkish club – which has followed and wanted to buy the Brazilian striker for at least 2 years – really seems to be enticing and the call of European football is not far behind.

The feelings are positive: after a long courtship, at the end of the last meeting between the parties, the good vibes are growing and for sure Adana will continue to push hard to sign the former Zenit player: their purpose is giving to the Italian coach an alternative player to be deployed in attack who could guarantee quality performances and goals. The target is closer than ever.

JUVENTUS - MANY CONTRACTS EXPIRING AT SEASON'S END

Juventus are once again great protagonists in Serie A. With eight victories in a row, the Bianconeri reached AC Milan in second place, seven points away from Napoli.

Leaving the pitch and thinking about transfer market, two weeks ago, we reported the interest of Juve in Youri Tielemans, as a possible replacement for Adrien Rabiot – whose contract will expire at the end of the season – if the French midfielder decides to say goodbye to Turin. The vice World Champion is just one of the many players whose contract expires in June, and Juventus are already thinking about how to handle this situation.

If for Rabiot, the Bianconeri will make another attempt in the next few weeks, to convince his mother-agent to sign the renewal with a salary set at 7 million euros per season, the club should behave differently with Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado. Not by chance, the agent of the Brazilian player is already working to find a new destination for his client who – unless a sensational twists – will terminate his adventure with the Bianconeri jersey in June.

In the same way, the Colombian winger is trying to understand the real possibilities of his transfer to Spain, where several clubs have shown interest in him. One thing is clear: for both players, the next few months will be the last with Juventus.
