‘The beauty of our attack, the kind of football people want’ - Man Utd boss Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was full of superlatives for his Manchester United team after Wednesday night's EFL Cup quarter-final triumph.

The Red Devils saw off West Ham United 4-2 at Old Trafford to book their spot in the semi-finals of the league cup, thanks to doubles from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial.

Asked what he wants to see form his team, Mourinho had a simple answer.

"More of the same, in terms of the quality of our football," he told MUTV.

"They way we dominate the game, the way we control a good opponent.

"The beauty of our attacking football is more of the same, match after match, but today we had goals.

"Like against Feyenoord, but not against West Ham in the league or Burnley or Stoke. So I think we are in the right direction because we played very, very well.

"That makes me happy because one of the things that I proposed to myself was to come to such a club like Man U and play the kind of football that people want because it is Man U tradition.

"I'm really happy with that, happy with the victory today, happy to give a semi-final to Old Trafford and to Old Trafford people and let's try to go back to Wembley."
