Carlos Tevez's success at Manchester United this season is lifting the club's profile across Argentina.

The Sun says Tevez is big news back home after helping Manchester United to glory in his first season there.

The main daily sports paper put him on the front page with the headline 'Argentine Heart', while sales of United shirts have increased in downtown Buenos Aires.

Tevez was draped in an Argentine flag as he celebrated in front of Red Devils fans at Wigan's JJB Stadium.

He said: "During the season the fans chanted 'Argentina, Argentina'. And ever since I arrived here you could see some Argentina flags in the crowd. So on Sunday I thought 'This is a good moment to put my country on show'."
