Tottenham legend Ledley King has been granted a testimonial following a 13 year career at White Hart Lane. King, who had an injury hit spell with the club, will lead a Spurs All-Star XI against the current side at White Hart Lane on Monday, May 12.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, King, a one-club man who was capped 21 times by England, was coy over the make-up of his star-studded side.
"I am very excited by this announcement," he said. "It gives me a chance to get out on the great White Hart Lane pitch again to say thank you to the fans one more time for the support they gave me during my time here.
"My team will be made up of players who I have played with during my time at Tottenham, players who helped me to reach the levels that I did, some real legends of the club who will be coming back and gracing the day.
"It will be a great occasion for everyone as I have some real great faces, great characters taking on the current first team."
