Terry accepts he's no longer automatic first-choice at Chelsea

Chelsea captain John Terry accepts he's no longer a first-choice.

The Daily Mail says Terry accepts he is unlikely to be the first-choice central defender again under Rafa Benitez, he has declared himself fully fit and is keen to play in every game as Chelsea fight for a top-four finish.

Terry continues to take part in every session under Benitez, but has not played consecutive games since mid-February.

The 32-year-old was out for two months after damaging his knee when Liverpool striker Luis Suarez fell on him during their 1-1 draw in November.

Although he returned to the Chelsea team in January, he has slipped behind the preferred central defensive partnership of David Luiz and Branislav Ivanovic.
