Teenage sensation Karlan Ahearne-Grant is delighted after grabbing his first ever professional goal.

Ahearne-Grant managed to get on the scoresheet during Charlton's 4-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

The effort was Ahearne-Grant's first ever professional goal and the 17-year old was understandably over the moon following his strike.

The youngster said: "I'm over the moon – I've been waiting for it. I've played seven or eight games and I'm buzzing now, absolutely buzzing."
