Former England coach Peter Taylor is taking charge of Gillingham.
Taylor has been appointed as Gillingham's interim manager while they undertake their search for a full-time appointment.
Taylor has taken control of the reins at the Sky Bet League 1 club in the wake of Martin Allen's surprise sacking on Sunday following 16 months at the helm.
The 60-year-old has twice managed England's Under-21 team as well as the likes of Leicester City, Brighton, Hull City and Crystal Palace at club level.
