Defender Carey Talley is set to return to DC United, over a decade after he first joined the club.
The 33-year old was recently waived by Chivas USA but has been training with DC this week and a deal is expected to completed very soon.
The Washington club are trying to find a way to pay Talley a lower salary as he was on $125,000 last term but nonetheless, the odds are with him becoming a DC United player.
Talley joined the club in 1998 and made over 100 appearances before moving to Kansas City Wizards, FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake and then Chivas.
