Per chief Leipziger Volkszeitung football reporter Guido Schafer, both Newcastle and Liverpool are interested in the creative star.

However, he is said to prefer a move to the Anfield club, even though Newcastle are in the Champions League.

Szoboszlai may see his style as more suited to play the way that Klopp sets up his teams.

He may also believe that in the future, Liverpool will win more trophies compared to Newcastle.
